Residential Friends

Alifelessmediated.com - The blog of Working Lady's Vice President. It is good. Take a look around.

MissWit.Net - Most Tshirts with sayings on them drive me nuts and suck. Miss Wit's do neither. That's why I often wear them on the show!

Radio Free Nation - A great independent digital media project, which streams live and I have guested on. Very interesting stuff!

Stop Global Warming.Org - This is a movement about change, as individuals, as a country, and as a global community. Join the million-plus and growing supporters of the Stop Global Warming Virtual March, and become part of the movement to demand our leaders freeze and reduce carbon dioxide emissions now. We are all contributors to global warming and we all need to be part of the solution.

Global Relief Technologies (GRT) - an organization who coordinates relief groups like the Red Cross and the military during catastrophic events using an ingenious countercultural tool called "The Internet."

The Red Cross - you can volunteer locally and become part of life-saving efforts. There are so many ways you can help!

Medistem - a really interesting company on the cutting edge of the future in medicine.

The Anti-Advertising Agency - a great site with a great mission: fighting the machine where it is most deceitful - its marketing department.

Manpollo.org - Their mission is to provide a risk-management perspective to the often political debate of global warming. They aim to quantify the possible consequences of various international, national, statewide, and personal actions (or inaction), based upon economic and climate models provided by top scientists in their respective fields.

The Sound of Urchin - my favorite rock band. They rule, and they have a new album, so check them out.

Counter Culture Now - if you’re into the counterculture in the most traditional of countercultural ways, you’ll love this site, chock with sustainability tips, music festivals, activism, and more.

The NRDC - The Natural Resources Defense Council’s website is full of facts, resources, and ways to get involved in environmental issues and efforts.

Uncyclopedia - a total time-waster, to be sure, but for all of you stuck in an office needing comic relief – click here!

The Objectivist Center - an independent source of information about Objectivism, the philosophy defined by one of my favorite writers, Ayn Rand. If you’re ever looking to read a great story that makes you feel like anything is possible and you CAN do it, read “Atlas Shrugged”. Just know that I’m totally Dagny in it, k?

Kurt Vonnegut - the official website of my absolute favorite author. RIP, Kurt, and thanks so much for all the inspiration. Oh, and if any of you viewers out there want to ever buy me something, buy me something from this site.

Vanessa Villanova, Producer Extraordinaire - Vanessa’s done a bunch of work for me, and she does a lot of cool work in general. If you are looking for some serious online production expertise, check her out.

One Voice - an organization that has started a positive, peaceful political movement in the Middle East which is swiftly moving from the countercultural to the mainstream. This is one to not miss!

The ACLU - The American Civil Liberties Union is a fascinating organization that does a lot of very important, interesting work for our culture and society. They have local chapters everywhere that you can get involved in.

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force - an organization whose mission is to help establish more rights and tolerance for the gay and lesbian community.

Chickenhead.com - the self-described “noted purveyor of worthlessness”; a Resident-described purveyor of awesomeness. Tons of good, fun reading here.

The Consumerist - if you’re as fed up with consumerism as I am, you’ll enjoy this little website, too – one of the better parts of the (much-needed) Gawker Media snarkfest.

Bob Wiltfong - Bob is a super talented dude, whom I met after I heard about his pilot in the New York Television Festival a few years ago. We ended up doing a few projects together: you might recognize him from “The Christmas Spectacular”.

David Wain - he’s a founding member of “The State”, “Stella”, and a lot of other hilarious stuff, whom I interviewed on the show, and thus whom is well-deserving of linkage. You can also see him on the extremely-funny online video site, MyDamnChannel.com.

Charged - another interviewee of the show, Charged is a very talented bunch of people who produce video using puppets, dolls, and a crapload of great humor.

Uncookedland - the funniest greeting cards you’ll ever need.
