Alternative News VideosThe mainstream news in our culture is driven by the same thing as everything else in traditional media: money. To appease sponsors, news outlets run sensational, not-necessarily news-worthy stories like the latest teenage millionaire’s meltdown or an interview with a reality TV cast-off. Thankfully, there are alternative news sources out there still willing to report actual, informational, worthy news. Sometimes you have to look at the countercultural or grassroots fringes of our society to find them, but they’re there. And as part of my show, I like to find them and do alternative news videos showcasing the stories. So that's what you'll see here: videos on those kinds of grassroots news stories. |
