You have to fight fire with fire unfortunately. Otherwize Obama would have ended up like Ron Paul (who was the only straight talking politician this election). My hope is, that after Obama gets elected and expands the middle class/ checks the power of the upper class. we will start making progress, away from the attacks, obfuscation and misrepresentation that has become the only way to win politicians elections, and back towards rationality and clear facts. [although I dont pretend to think this will be fully realized until the corporate medias influence greatly weakened (yay resident.net and other outlets of thoughtfullness)] I really do think obama wants whats best for the majority (95%) of lower/middle class americans. Mccain would only serve to further divide the classes, and keep these dispicable political strategies as the wining ones.

The debate could have used more critical thought -- you mean, like this video? The reason they don't talk about their plan is because it gives the opposition something to tear to shreds. But you knew that, right? So why the rhetorical video, vs. something a little more meaty?
{If you want details, probably the closest substitute is the party platform, which you can find by Googling it.)

When I tuned in on the Strategy Room I didn't get to see you participate in the talks, 15 or so minutes to the end of the show. I tuned in late!! I got your message too late. Got on line in mid afternoon. I'll try to find the recorded show on Fox News.
I thought the debate lacked salt and pepper!! Bland tasting. Expected more of Obama. Both of them stuck to rhetoric as you say. My opinion is that Obama has a more broad and indepth perspective on all the issues related to the presidency. But, for the "Joe six-pack" to get it he should deliver his ideas using another approach/discourse. One that's made of a little "blood and tears" - attainable straight-forward ideas. I think most people might see his speech to be too intelectual and idealistic. Most of all, however, he should approach the issues connecting the dots of how his policies and the issues at hand are related, in a very simple straight forward manner. That would be very convincing!!
Keep up the good work!! Suggestion: should change the subtitle of your logo "Media sucks" to "Mainstream media sucks".

I AGREE, the answers were mostly very carefully CRAPTED.....(Oh, I'm sorry, you said crafted, I apologize!) Leaves you kind of looking aimlessly around wondering "Isn't there someone else out there who can do this better?"

Well Lori Liberal, I watched your nation's prez debate, and I think that Obama and McCain outlined their plans & policies very clearly. They both seemed quite likable too. The debate was well-moderated, unlike the ones we have in Canada, which are like garbled Spaghetti, Tower of Babylon style. Somebody likens Canadian political debates to a ferocious family food fight at the dinner table with the parents misbehaving too. At least in the American ones, the candidates answer the questions and don't just attack each other nonstop. And the American ones are moderated a lot better. As for your election, I'd vote for the one who not only promised sweeping changes, but will make the American people swallow the tough, painful medicine of paying down the debt so that the US can get back on its feet.
I completely agree. I wouldn't even call it a debate. What was debated? I heard a bunch of scripts and Tom Brokaw. Great job on FoxNews, too. I hate Fox news, but I tuned in because I figured you would be a breath of fresh air.

Aside from a few magical numbers on health care and taxes, it was just another pile of rhetoric. Short little political video for ya here.
